Terms of use

Last updated 5 October 2026

These terms are between you and MASSIO LIMITED, who runs LaterUp. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions go to contact@laterup.com.

What the service is

LaterUp lets you keep links to videos you find on the web, organised in folders, and reach them from your devices: the site, the browser extensions and the apps. It stores links and descriptions. It does not download, copy, host or stream the videos, and it gives you no rights in them. Watching a saved video happens on the site it came from, under that site's own rules.

Your account

What you may not do

We may suspend or close an account that does any of this.

Plans and payment

The Free plan has no limit on folders or videos. Pro adds features on top for a monthly or yearly fee, shown before you buy. When Pro is sold through the App Store or Google Play, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow that store's rules, and you manage the subscription in your store account. A subscription renews until you cancel it, at least 24 hours before the period ends. If a subscription ends, nothing you saved is deleted; only the Pro features stop.

What is yours and what is ours

The folders, notes and links you create are yours. The software, the design and the name are ours. You may use the extensions and the apps to use the service, and for nothing else. Links you save point to other people's content; their rights stay with them.

The apps

If you installed the app from the App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not the store. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or for supporting it, and they may enforce these terms against you as third-party beneficiaries. You confirm you are not in a country under embargo and not on a restricted-party list of the United States.

No guarantee

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but it is provided as it is. Links can break when the sites they point to change or remove a video, and that is outside our control. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that the law says cannot be limited.

Changes and ending

We may change the service or these terms. When a change matters we will say so here and by email where it is significant; if you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If we ever close the service we will give reasonable notice so you can take a copy of your data.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where MASSIO LIMITED is established, without taking away the protections you have as a consumer where you live.
